1. Mainland  Towns / Peloponnese that are worth a visit – See Below

Napflio  – Porto Cheli – Ermioni – Monemvasia

Napflio

Napflio Peloponnese beautiful Napflio

Nafplio is one of Greece’s prettiest and most romantic towns. It occupies a knockout waterside location beneath the towering Palamidi fortress, and is graced with attractive narrow streets.

Elegant Venetian houses, neoclassical mansions and interesting museums make up the beauty of Napflio. It’s also full of tavernas, fancy boutiques and top class hotels and guesthouses.

Because it’s a popular destination for locals from Athens, as tourists in high season.. Can be reached by bus or car.

PORTO CHELI

porto Heli on the peloponnese bay of porto heli

One of the best kept secrets in the Peloponnese, Porto Heli embodies Greek charm untouched by mass touristic development. This area is also known as the GREEK RIVIERA and really is something to behold.

In this seaside town of pristine natural beauty, villas are nestled within pine and cypress tree forests while crystal-clear waters with secluded coves promise an escape of un spoilt pleasures.

Just three hours away from Athens by Ferry  (www.ferryhopper.com) can also be reached by Bus or car.

ERMIONI

Ermioni - paradise Ermioni - Greek riviera

Ermioni, is absolutely mind blowing, as much as the nearby Porto Heli, it is a destination for the rich and famous. Its charm derives from nature as well as its cosmopolitan aura.

The gentle green hills are home to beautiful houses whereas luxury boats anchor in the nearby coves and marinas. The town’s beauty is without a doubt well worth a visit.

There is a sense of peace that hangs over this town. I was amazed to see how clean it was. Kudo to the Town mayor

MONEMVASIA

Monemvasia - Step back in timedining in Monemvasia Greece

Monemvasia is a place that defies easy categorization, where the drama of nature meets the intricacy of human history.

Approaching Monemvasia feels like stepping into a lost chapter of time, where medieval fortifications, Byzantine chapels, and winding cobblestone paths whisper tales of sieges, commerce, and poetic inspiration.

By Car – In order to reach Monemvasia from Athens by car, you need to drive through the Greek National Road from Corinth to Tripolis. After Tripolis, you need to follow the route to Sparti and Gythio.

Before reaching Gythio, you will spot the signs that lead you to Monemvasia. The distance between Athens and Kyparissia is about 300 km. In case you don’t have your own vehicle, you can rent one for your sightseeing trips!
