Transport in Greece and Traveling for the first time to a foreign country can be quiet daunting and exciting at the same time. Those that go on my group tours are more assured as at least the tour leader knows the way around and what to do.
The first thing you look at is how to get around Greece with the least stress.Always check your route prior to departing on a holiday. Especially if there are strikes and you are on a strict time limited tour.
We will cover the following and give you the links to make your trip a memorable one.
Ferries are my most enjoyable way of getting to the islands.. To reach the ports take a taxi, bus or metro.. Main ports like Piraeus or Rafina will take you to all the islands… See below for metro lines and KTEL bus routes.
With regards Ferries, there are numerous types from the luxury liners to ferries that range from slow to fast..The fast ferries will get you to your destination faster at a higher price where as blue star ferries will get you there 45 min later at a more reasonable price..
Fast clean and always ontime — The lines will take you to all the destinations you want on your journey through Athens
