Here are a few of my choices for a great holiday  –

  • MILOS

Unique Cycladic islands because of its exceptional landscape. Islands originality and incredible beauty are due to its volcanic origin, which has given the island bright colors and rocks of impressive shapes.

Milos has a large number of hot springs, caves and geological formations found around the island such as Kanavas, Alykis, Provatas, Pikropigis springs, Papafragas and Sikia Caves, and Kleftiko Cove.

Still one of my top 5 islands .. Expect to stay at least 4 days to see everything. Car hire is essential, Although there are taxis and busses.

Plaka, is the capital of Milos, Adamas one of the biggest natural harbours in the Mediterranean, Pollonia, Chivadolimni or Emporio with the bays and iron mines are just a few of the island’s beautiful villages you should explore. Let the journey begin:

The main Plaka is  on a hill 220 m above Adamantas Bay. The white washed architectural  island style with the charming chapels and narrow alleys makes this town one of the most delightful ones in the Cyclades.

At a short distance visit some endearing hamlets such as Firopotamos, Plathiena, Fourkovouni and Klima.

PAROS

A Greek island and hot spot in the Cyclades. Parikia,(CHORA) the bayside capital, is a boating and transportation hub for the Cyclades region. From here you can also visit Anti Paros

It’s also home to the Panagia Ekatontapiliani, a landmark Byzantine church from the 4th century A.D. The north coast’s Kolimbithres is a beach where naturally sculpted rocks form swimming coves.

The island is easily reachable via plane from the International Airport of Athens and by ferry from the ports of Athens (Piraeus, Rafina and Lavrio), Mykonos, Santorini Naxos, and many more Cycladic islands.

The most frequented seaside town is NAOUSSA .. Just 15 by bus from PARIKIA.. Also can be reached by Quadbike, Bus or Taxi .. A MUST SEE island

IOS

A small Greek island in the Cyclades group in the Aegean Sea. A hilly island with cliffs down to the sea on most sides. It is situated halfway between Naxos and Santorini.

Ios is a small island of the Cyclades group. It is a part of the Cyclades Islands in the south of Greece. Ios is a short ferry ride from Santorini, making an extended holiday or even a day trip a viable option.

Known as a Party island and yet I have been there several times and have had a quiet holiday .. If you travel there pick your accommodation wisely – Contact GREECE TOURS for more on where to stay on IOS .

The island embodies that classic Greek island ambiance—hillside clusters of blue-roofed white buildings, an amphitheatre, golden beaches and the sapphire sea.

The spindly windmills of Ios are like something from a storybook, and a visit to the Tomb of Homer
